Hi Jim 'ol buddy, old pal....

:)

It's been a few days since you posted your schedule for the RED cameras, and I'd just thought I would check in with you (On behalf of everyone reading this) and ask if you still feel good about the dates you posted.

You've made it clear how quickly things can change, and I am betting with each passing day you either get more comfortable with the release schedule or less.. Just wondering where things stand at the end of this week.

As you can see, Gibby is going great guns with putting together an amazing team of people for a REDtest.. I'm thinking of going just to say I was there! (By the way, you and the team should seriously consider dropping by if you have not already).

With Gibby, David, and the others there, I would not be surprised if they just said "screw it" and shot "The Hobbit" or another James Bond sequel in two day's time.

Hey... It could happen!

:)

Maybe its time to give Jim some slack... he is only human after all.

Wait are you serious?! Jim isn't a superhuman force sent from beyond to give us the tools to make better images? Whoa... this is shocking news to me.

Actually, I was giving more "slack" as you call it than anyone. I was providing a chance, if needed, for Jim to give us a head's up that things may not be going as he had hoped.

This was not pushing, but rather the opposite. It was a chance to revise if needed..

-"hey jim, any word on those dates yet?"

-jim thinks about all the suppliers he's still waiting to hear from.

"hey jim, it's been one week. any word?"

-jim is in the middle of a meeting.

"hey jim, is that schedule looking good or are you ready to revise yet?"

-jim thinks that the only thing more pushy than this guy is every reservation holder in front of him.

i think it's safe to say that when he knows more, we'll know more.

I am willing to bet that Jim will give a "heads up" when he feels he should.

And with that, we say, case/thread closed.

Agree. Jim will update when he's ready. Today is friday, so you never know.
