I'm getting to the end of writing on RED: The Ultimate Guide to Using the Revolutionary Camera (http://tinyurl.com/pakvqk) and we're looking to feature some frames from cool footage shot with RED in the book. If you have something you think would fit the bill, please send a 4K JPG or TIF along with credit and production information, your website and permission to print the frame in the book to. PM me for where to send it.

It should be a nice piece of free PR for anyone interested. :)

thanks in advance,
Noah

That depends on a few factors out of my hands but I'm hearing July/August. You can pre-order it already at a nice juicy discount. :)

So it will be more than $55 after the pre-order period? I will definitely be picking this up.

Not sure- you'll find it at Borders, Barnes and Noble, Amazon etc. I'm sure some of them will sell for less than $55.

Anything cool looking that you have the rights to- gotten some great stuff so far. Landscapes, portraits, visual effects, you name it.

Noah, would you say that this book should bring together all info about Red one, including things like exposure? There are some topics that keep some people wondering and some experts arguing over and over again

Part I: RED Pre-Production and Shooting
2. RED Workflow Overview
3. Defining Your Project
4. Building a RED package
5. Working with Sound
6. Exposing the Image
7. Exploring Shooting Formats

Part II: The RED Workflow: Post-Production
8. Building a RED Post-Production System
9. Using Helper Applications
10. Final Cut Pro Workflow
11. Adobe Premiere Pro Workflow
12. Avid Workflow
13. Color Correction Options
14. Archiving footage
15. Continuing the Future with RED

ps- we are still looking for all kinds of footage so please PM me if you have anything.

thanks,
Noah

I shoot primarily action sports of the top motocross riders, NASCAR, Trophy Truck, Tennis and scenics. Would you be interested in a sports shot for your book?
Thanks
