What is RED exposure latitude now?

Any news?

Red has rated the Mysterium sensor's signal-to-noise ratio at 66dB.
Preliminary internal testing at Red suggests 11.4 stops of exposure latitude.
This should not be considered as a final number(?!).

Our latitude numbers won't slip... the Mysterium® sensor is what it is. We still have a lot to do, but re-working the sensor is NOT one of them.

So who knows?

"RED is currently on an engineering delay..." mostly that means (and not all) about maximizing the Mysterium sensor's exposure latitude and the camera control software tests, REDCINE tests and a total hardware/software integration with the overall camera performance.
That final phase is still on. Work in progress.
