I know you guys are really busy trying to get the Red One out, but I think many of us have been really patient in waiting for news about the Mini Red, can you guys just throw use a small bone and gives us a few details.

Use the search tool. There have been several threads started about the RED PPC, including a couple threads active in the Off Topic forum right now. Why start another "We want more info" thread on the subject?

Be a real to wait till 2009-10 for RED mini.
ANYWAY 2008 will be THE MAIN RED ONE promotion year.
Then it will come MINI (for sure not MORRIS).

Gibby, the search tool would be great if it was wired to Jim's brain. we all would like a bit of real info as oppsed to the conjecture of the many threads.

When you say "we all" I'm included in that also. We'd all like more info, but no number of new threads started asking for it will produce results until RED is ready to release more info. With their small, hyper-busy staff working long hours to finish the development of RED One, RED lenses, and accessories, I think it's obvious we wont get more info on the PPC until the business at hand on the current products in development is completed.

I think the most positive news about the MINI is contained in the announcement lifting the engineering delay on RED One. I would assume that things learned in that delay will be directly applied to the MINI.

Gibby, perhaps that is the response you should have given Sasha.

Perhaps...

When someone is new to the board like him (3 posts), I think using the search tool to see what's been discussed is the best way to dive in, right? The same things get asked time and again, often times with several threads going at the same time - usually started by guys who simply start a new thread rather than do a search, find if a thread on the subject is active, and then post on that thread. There is a long thread in the Off Topic forum where scores of guys are asking what Sasha asked - and I did give that same response on that other thread, for the same reason. If he searched, found that thread, and posted there, it would avoid the duplication of threads.
