I'm curious if anyone might know a ballpark figure for getting a 12 minute film, shot on the RED, transfered to 35mm. Any ideas?
And would you have to go to Deluxe or Technicolor for that kind of thing or are there other options in Toronto?
Cheers!
david.

I think Deluxe and Technicolor are the main ones that would do this.
There is also Notch (http://www.notch.ca/) but I'm not sure they go out to 35mm. I know they scan it.
You want someone, preferably, with an Arrilaser film recorder.

I just finished a 35mm short at EFilm in Toronto and it was a great experience. The people and the facilities are amazing. We had a highly talented colorist (Mila Patriki) and was incredibly happy with the results.

$400/min sounds about right for 2k. Not sure about 4k, though.

Technicolor did an excellent filmout for me.
Shot RED. Finished 2K. Filmout.
