I wonder if anyone from AC will be going out to Soderbergh's sets to report on the RED? I think with the picture shooting in Europe now, RED is only one type of camera being used (along with 35mm, unless I am mistaken), whereas with Soderbergh's pictures, it's an all-RED shoot, I think.

Yep, and you can see the listing of the title of the articles here:

by the way, his name is Richard Bluck (with an L).

This is probably a good issue for Red shooters. Its focus seems to be on 4k problems/solutions/companies etc.

I assume I can pick this up at Barnes and Noble?

'course I can't be considered a source of impartial information in this instance. ;)

I just got my issue 2 days ago. This is the first time I've read Showreel and so far I'm big fan.
I really liked the article on the Codex. I would definitely like to see some presets in REDcine to emulate as much of that export functionality as possible.

Oh I should probably mention I noticed one typo in my article I said Wavelets give you 1/(n^2) resolution proxies. But that would be weird. That means you would get 1/4, 1/9, 1/16th etc proxies. I meant to say 1/(2^n) resolution proxies. Oh well.
and if anyone is interested in like a 300 MB layered photoshop file PM me. I'll see if I can't get it up on an ftp or something.
