Mini Red news?

I know there's a lot of excitement regarding the further developments of the Red One (iso 8000 anyone?), but is there any more news on what the Mini Red will be? Or even when we can expect more information about it. Thanks very much.

yep...since the engineering delay is already over....it would time for some hot news on the red mini...myself I am on the verge of buying a hvx 200 for day to day shootings...but might hold on a bit if some good news on the subject of the mini "large pocket" nikon mount red cam pops up....come on red team...bring on the little one....

Back in May Jim said they'd release more Mini-Red info "in a few months".

But if you need to shoot something now, go buy you an HVX. My guess is that the Red Mini is mid to late 2008.

Last night on another thread Jim Jannard described how hard RED TEam is working to finish the RED One camera, their #1 priority. Once that is completed, then I would assume they can at some future point put some energy toward ideas for other proposed products. Let's give RED Team some breathing room right now, let them finish RED One and it's lenses/accessories, and then look for some word on other proposed products.
