Due to a high demand, Gamma and Density Co. upgraded 3cP versions to better support users

Gamma and Density's 3cP system has always been designed for cinematographers, aimed at giving them control over their images while acknowledging the hectic nature of life on the set.

But with the evolution of digital imaging technology, and the ever- increasing list of on-set tasks and camera-crew procedures related to data management, color correction, storage and data transmission, more than just the cinematographer is involved with the process. So 3cP has evolved too!

As part of this evolution--and at the request of numerous customers--we are making some enhancements to the various versions of 3cP to better fit them to the specific needs of today's digital imaging practitioners. Each version retains all the features it's always had, but more functionality is now available at lower price points.

Our SL "Full" version ($2999) supports practically all workflows - RED .r3d footage and QuickTime , has the ability to communicate directly with LUT boxes--including the Panavision GDP and Thomson LUTher, as well as a variety of still image formats. And when combined with the appropriate toolkit from Glue Tools, 3cP SL now gives you direct access to RAW camera files from the Arri D-21 and Vision Research Phantom. And now it includes the Gamma and Density patented "3cP-709" chart.

The SF "Advanced" version ($1499) gains support for RED .r3d RAW and Canon 5dMkII files in addition to its existing support for QuickTime movies, still images and HD-SDI support for digital cameras.

The ST "Base" version ($499) supports independent productions using small video cameras or film, and allows direct communication of on-set color data with Apple Color and Synthetic Aperture's Color Finesse, allowing for an easy path from the set to desktop post. Qualified students (with current student ID) may purchase the ST version at a 50% discount.

Purchasers of the SF and ST versions also qualify for a 50% discount on all Gamma and Density color charts.
