Any chance of seeing any clips of these recent push shots... I'm sure they look even better as moving images. We are beyond the bad press stage of people seeing a clip and tearing it apart; nothing can bring Red down at this point. Please start posting moving images.

Yeah it's not like you can bitch about a 32,000 asa shot.

Fan boy sentiments aside, I feel very left out. The hot shit industry guys are seeing moving images and we aren't. God I hate being a cry baby but come on, we are the faithful !

...and do you think they are going to want us to show clips from the movies they are making? Are you nervous that the moving images will be bad from the stills we are posting?

Jim

no, I would settle for 3 seconds of a static image at high asa.. I'm very easy. Any kind of bone will do, just has to be a moving bone.

I'm not the least bit nervous, the camera is everything I expected and more. I'm just jealous that I don't get to see more moving images now that the unfaithful are coming around. I'm through asking, maybe I'll just drop out till September.

Now you want the rise of the fan boys!! damn skippy!!:w00t:

Moving pictures is what we crave, and the suspense is killing us, but then again I don't have a 4k monitor, but then again I'll find something.

Moving pictures please.

Not that were ungrateful, it's just that were so damn emotionally involved at this point.

I want to see what some temporal de-noising on the footage might dig out of the high ISO images.

That being said. I'm still very nervous after seeing the 1:1 500 asa footage that the compression is still too heavy and how closely it resembles the compression artifacts from crossing the line. However JPEGs are never a good idea to take too seriously... still it doesn't look like jpeg artifacting it looks *a lot* like wavelet artifacting.

never enough... :-)

Jim

You're absolutely right Jim. I'm ashamed of myself.

Now, you were saying ....

Rodney Charters is shooting a new outside shot with our updated DSP and sensor settings (tonight). I think we can post a shot in the next day or so. I'll ask him for permission.

Jim

Hmmm, a short ( >5 seconds ) clip of that shot would really be Nice to see.

If it's just a test, Maybe Rodney wouldn't mind?

When's the next "Red Crack Head's Meeting"? I need help.
