What if you had the choice between a Brand New Camaro fully optioned or a Red Package what would you choose???

Depends on what's in the Red package -- and whether you love driving or shooting more.... The Red package is probably more earth friendly long term.

As an investment, the RED is a much better opportunity if you have an existing client base. You have the opportunity to actually make money with the RED rather than put money into a sinking ship ie GM. However, I am a sports car guy myself and was just breaking my neck earlier today at the shiny new camaro's parked out front my local Chevy dealership.
I guess do what makes you happy, going fast in a new sports car or shooting beautiful images.

The net present value of the RED Package is higher, so I would choose that.

Red package equal to 40,000 dollars.
Its a hard decision I think, I love cars but I also love taking images, so little money so many things to buy

Easy. Get the RED. Earn some hard cash and buy a Camaro.

Not so crazy about the new Camaro...the Challenger, on the other hand, is good and sexy.

No question. The Red. Who needs a Camaro? Pretty hard to make a living with a Camaro.

Audi A5, that'd be a tough decision. Only one would make any kind of return on investment...

The Challenger vs. Red was my dilemma... I had each cleared for take off from my wife.

I figured that the Challenger wouldn't buy me the Red, but the Red just might buy me the Challenger.

Sooo... I'm shooting the best pictures that my 160 thousand mile clunker will take me to.

It's hard for me I'm 15 and man the camaro is tempting, I might have to have it then maybe sell for a loss but I'm sure the fun the camaro brings is well worth the depriciation, don't have a bad camera set up now, good enough to be used in some feature films so I'm leaning towards camaro the fun it'll bring is sooo tempting

I'm glad I didn't have a Red or a Camaro when I was 15.

Believe me it's self earned cash that will buy them I'm not some spoiled rich kid no way. Just wanted to clear that up

Since you're 15 that changes things a little. Seeing as how the Camaro is probably a better "chick-magnet" than a RED, I would say drive fast and go for the girls. If you have a passion for recording, pick up a decent DV now and upgrade to better technology (like RED) in the future. :001_smile:

It's not about the chicks I love cars and driving and so yeah I want to take images no doubt and I currently do and will forever just did the film on the ford mustang gt, not for ford but for buisness still. Yeah it's fun either option :)
Honestly I want the Red more but right now with the equipment I have I think I can stay active and continue getting work as well as get the car I currently have no transport and well the Camaro would be well fun. Wait a few months, new red's come out sell for 10,000 dollars less get Red make more money get more red stuff and other transport and so it goes.

Red.

I love my C30. And I prefer to lease cars.

It also makes better financial sense imo. Especially if I was 15 then it's easier to make a car payment every month then to drop $40k in one lump sum.

But if I had the cash in hand I would buy outright I dont like leasing things too restricting. Also I couldn't afford the insurance anyways so I'd probably just get a few drives and give it to my dad and if I wanted a red then and there probably when the scarlet/epic comes out I'll sell but I dont like having cash laying around Id rather have an object (car, camera, whatever) cause its alot more fun that way

After you've had fun with your Red, can I have it?
