go to the santa monica pier walk around , walk down venice and buy some hippie jewelry from a vendor for like 4 bucks, still drink that 40 oz. and then grab 2 sandwiches from Jody Maroni's famous sausage sandwiches down on venice boardwalk, then run in the ocean tackle a dolphin and show it how to use the red camera. lol Thanks guys. good suggestions from all :) I had been driving about 8 hours that day and got to my buddy's place around 10:30pm. He had beers ready and we ended up just chilling on his porch catching up until 3-4am. Nothing terribly exciting, but I was too tired to go out and a good time was had anyway.

Although the $60 street cleaning ticket I found on my car the next morning means I'll no longer have my $23 anyway, damnit >:(

not to sound like a member of the marijuana lobby but i have to disagree, i reckon the weed is still better for you than $23 worth of cheeseburgers. not that i wouldn't eat $23 worth of cheeseburgers mind you.

i know this has just become academic now but if i was in LA for my birthday and had only $23 i'd find out where cesar milan lives, or where his dog shelter is and cos i hear there's no public transport in LA i'd have to pay for a taxi to get there and ask if i can just play with the dogs. that'd be pretty cool. and maybe i'd tell cesar it's my birthday and he'd ask if i wanted to stay for dinner. or offer me a job looking after the dogs.
