I'm starting to like 3d:) I have two reds and a simple side by side set up - for first tests I would like to make. What software/hardware do I need to bring my two RED streems together to view them in 3d? Is the software for mac?
Neo3d might be a good way to start if you want to stay inside FCP,

I used stereoscopic player for quick review of some of the stuff I do.
.....works great on DLP tv's or you can view in many anaglyph modes on any monitor.

If you need a bit (or a lot) more flexibility and control I would recommend The Foundry's Nuke. There's also a deal for Nuke if you own a RED - but I think it'll expire soon

I'm writing software for doing the calculations of distance between cameras. It's free and will include more and more features as I improve it.

Sorry, it only runs on Windows at the moment.
