Red One battery problem?

Hi,
We had our Red one shooting in steadycam , car rig, etc for last few days.
We gave necessary protection to the batteries etc by putting tapes etc.
Till yesterday everything was okay.
Today morning when we put the battery the camera was not booting.As it was an indoor shoot we used the DC cable give power to the camera.
After the shoot we opened the battery plate from the cradle and refitted it.
Camera then started on with the battery but the battery percentage indicator is showing DC and battery also fails sometime leading to camera shutdown.
What could be the issue?Is this something related to battery plate?Please help.

Seems like battery plate connectors issue, what are you using a cradle or a quick plate??

common problem this, possibly one or two of the metal connector pins in the batteries may have sunk inwards.

the fix is to chisel the plastic away slightly to expose them enough to keep steady contact with the pins on the battery plate
