Hi everybody,

a client wants to film a concert with 6 red one. The timecode is generated by the sound mixer.

My problem is how to get the timecode signal to the cameras.

There are two that i can sync by cable, but the other four need to get the timecode by a wireless transmitter.

Are there any suggestions concerning the transmitters, and a kind of split box for the timecode-out of the sound device.

Thank you very much,

ET!

Lockit boxes. Check out Denecke or Ambient, they are the main two companies servicing this sort of hardware:

Ambient Lockit.

sync them before the show, then mount them on the cameras and they will feed a timecode signal during the concert to the camera timecode in.

best wishes,

Did anybody compare the Ambient and the Denecke ?

I've used the Ambient Lockit boxes a few times, but never got a chance to try the Denecke model.

I'm asking this because Denecke seems to have a cheaper model, the SB-3.

Would that work with the Red, or do you need the more expensive model (SB-T) with Trilevel sync (like the new Lockit box offers) ?
