Hello,

I need to confirm what are the specs for the AC Adaptor used for the Red Drive 320 GB. I have not used mine since I always use FW, but not that I am using the USB port, I will need it.

I have mixed the provided adaptor with others, so I cannot be certain which one is the correct. I suspect that it is an OEM (model # AA-091A), which has an output of 9V AC, 1A. Can you please confirm if this is the one? if not, which are the output specs so I can get another one.:banghead:

Thanks!

PS
I heard that Jarred mentioned that from now on the new drives will be 640 GB at the same price. Since I need to send my camera for the sound board exchange, and the iPin installation, is there any fee that can be paid in order to exchange the internal drives so I can increase the capacity to 640 GB?:emote_couch:

Hey there,

I am in a similar situation with a missing Red-Drive AC adaptor. I need to use a PC laptop for location data transfer that only has the mini firewire port ( four pin I believe). I assume this is because the four pin does not send power to the external device. Am I correct here? Of course it has USB 2 port but that doesn't work as well.

So, is there a local after market AC adapter that I can grab?

If so are these specs correct?

output 12v... 1.5A
input 100-240v 50-60hz 0.6A
pin: center + ... outer -
CUI inc. switch mode power supply
model 3A-181wp12

Thanks!

David
