We are interested in swapping orders, renting or buying cameras from anyone with low reservation numbers. For anyone who is expecting delivery of their camera around September, but does not have an immediate need for Red, we would like to either swap our reservation with yours, buy your camera(s) or rent your camera(s) for a generous payment. Please PM me to discuss further details. We have a production scheduled for Fall and would thrilled if we could get Red by then.

It would help to know where you are. Also, transferral of reservations isn't allowed.

No but a written exchange agreement is.

1)Receive RED.
2)Remove shipping label.
3)Apply new label.
4)Reservation transferred!
5)Profit!

Given that Silverado were offered 75k for the reservation only (http://www.reduser.net/forum/showpost.php?p=48153&postcount=55), an expensive starting price has already been set.

What is #400 worth?

I'm not surprised at the 75K figure. someone who doesn't really need it right away could really capitalize. I can't imagine giving up my place in line but I see the atraction.

75K just for a reservation? There seems to be something very wrong with this scenario. Why not just rent someone else's until your purchased one comes in... but that's just me.

if you really need it for something like a feature, I can see it going higher. Ask yoursel;f what are the alternatives ? (renting arri or genesis or pana)

Correction:

4)RED ONE transferred!

The reservation was still executed in your name.

RED #206 is scheduled for delivery by October 10th (100-300) so right in the middle from September to October delivery.

I posted a preliminary rental rate in the other thread but what's a fair rental for that first month or two when there are not many reds available?

I was trying to get the same kind of idea for Red #41
