sorry for reposting .... may you passed the old thread cause it was posted with my old nick ... so here again under real name

Hi,

I m a little confused by so many ways to go in post :)

In the past we usually used the QT reference files and crimsonworkflow with redcine for our work...Some testing with redalert while our last two projects gave us much better results by tweaking the debayer and denoise options.
especially with critical material... lot's of shadow areas...3200K a.s.o.

so first question .... is there a technical officially documented difference between redcine and redalert in terms of imagequality and renderresults ??

About the nativ finalcut and color workflow (FCS3)...

I still can't find any settings for debayering quality ore noisereduction in the FCS/color-red panel ...
how color handles debayering ore denoise and what happens in the background... after some quick tests there is a significant difference between rendering with redalert and FCS...we use the recommended timelinesettings.may our trouble is hides somewhere else ?

Would be great if you could give some advices
