i like to make a set for underwater video in 3D
so must be a simple set

so i was thought that the Canon Mark 2, but not posible to genlock it

so here is the
Red Scarlet 3K HD Pocket Pro Camera

what do you think about this

I will be shooting stuff macro to wide angle but mostly wide angle
what to you think about the distance of the two camera

I'll use two of the fixed Scarlet for a 3D Rig. and as they are able to comunicate via wlan I think Red would be stupid not to make them "chainable" for 3D Work. This way even the Zoom should work the same time...

So yeah, good Idea and better Quality also...

As the Scarlet does not yet exist, it's hard to say. Why not wait until it's released - could be a long wait...

I was testing our recently completed underwater HD rig last week. Here a pic of me prior to trying to film some surfers etc...still doing initial testing.....

I assisted John Rupkalvis with creating this Rig. We using AVCHD cameras that are sync'd.

The initial footage looks good. Shooting with it has been fun.

I'll see if I can post a clip using youtube's new 3D anaglyph player.

It's no RED but seams like a decent lower priced alternative.
