Im planed upgrade my quadro 5600 to 5800 but my SDI CARD is the same? or need buy another SDI card? any one experience!

The 5600 and 5800 Quadro cards use the same SDI daughter board. The 4600, 4800 and CX cards also use the same board. The 4800 and CX are the exact same card. The difference is the inclusion of the Adobe plug-in. If you have a 4800 and want the plug-in, it is for sale.

and please.. what is scracht workflow difence beteem both cards? no more SDI droped frame in full res?

Yep, just swap main graphics board and reconnect the cables. Be sure to read the manual to connect to figure out which DVI connector to use on the main board.
Does not really help on the dropped frames. The RED Rocket should help here, once support is in. The extra graphics memory is probably going to be the biggest benefit with the 5800.

No for now! Scratch is amazing with Tagent p300!!
I id forgive custumized nvidia Quadro Video driver for DI, now look greate! with 74TB 1100 mb/s :driving:

just to clarify, are you saying they ALL use the same SDI daughter board, or that 5600 and 5800 uses one and 4600, 4800 and CX uses another?
We have a 4600 SDI and would love to go straight to 5800 without buying another SDI card.

Confirmed!!! SDI quadro 5600 card works with Quadro 5800 !!

One way to get the SDI board would be to buy RocketFuel. :) It also comes with the RR and ScratchCine. You could then sale the NVIDIA card.

RR only debayer .r3d files, we are use DPX Tiff too in Scratch Full suite, :smile5:
