I haven't heard much about them lately. Has anyone had a chance to shoot with them? How do they match up against MK III's , ultra primes, Cookes and MP's ? Any footage?
thanks in advance.

Just incase you haven't seen it yet,

Absolutely Brilliant. Love the images they create. I had mine wide open quite a bit with excellent results. Having a hard time putting any other glass on the camera.

Image quality, a perfect match for RED One. Some have quibbled over the lack of engravings for distance so that's perhaps something to consider if they don't meet your requirements in that category. But they are sharp, have nice contrast and able to be mentioned in the same league with Master Primes and other top lenses.
I have been very happy in my tests with them.

Very well and at a fraction of the price. Basically ...what Steve said.

the difference between the RPP's and the red zooms and my k35's is immediately
apparent to anyone who looks at the images. I am really really glad I got them.

I have been shooting with them. They have made the Red Camera, along with Build 20, a whole new camera. The Primes make lighting a scene more natural to the eye. Their "feel" reminds me of my Leica Summicron Lenses. They are heavy but their image is so beautiful I look on it as though I am just getting weaker. The RPP's look as good if not better than any lens out there right now. Before I purchased them, thinking that some of the Panchro's, Distagons, Planars, Super Speeds, and Cookes might start coming down in price, I tested everything. What I found out was the Red could be charging three times their price and it would still be a great deal.
It is so funny when I think back of when I was on the Board of the ASC. It was only a few years ago when I heard about a Red Camera and the guy who was behind it. In those few years Jim Jannard turned the industry on it's head. Very few people have made such an impact on any industry. I can't wait to see what's next.

An 18mm and a 135mm will make this set truly amazing. Add to it the Tokina 11-16mm for the ultrawide and this would be as solid a kit that you can get for the money. They really do have to be seen to be believed.

Yeah I read about that, bummer. Someone mentioned that Duclos might be able to take care of that. They're certainly better than my 30 year old MK I's (which are only half turn)... and sounds like an upgrade in every other respect.

14,16,18,20,40,65,135 mm ???? I have heard about the 18-mm being the next available lens and realize the technology is different hence the delayed release. Does anyone know if RED will make the other common sizes. An 11-12 piece set of RPP would be one very affordable and very powerful box of lenses. When can I put down my deposit? How about a rectilinear 10-mm?
As for the thread question these lenses seem to be a perfect fit for the camera, sharp, slightly cool which compliments the slightly warm camera and, smooth mechanics, and solid as a rock construction. Only nit pick is They should make better delrin caps for Primes especially 300-mm.
The 300 mm needs a lens cradle and a few manufacturers such as Duclos are working on it as we speak

Is the Bokeh or the RRP's any where near the Leica Bokeh ie very smooth ? Im not being critical as I've never seen an RRP.
