As i am thinking about buying the 2/3 adapter, how would that one work when 1080 isnīt in the camera?
- shoot 2k and crop?

RED hasn't confirmed that 1080p has been eliminated....just that they are considering it. B4 2/3" HD lenses will cover 2k with either a RED or Abakas adapter. You'd then crop from 2k to 1080p in REDCINE. The quality of the results from that setup has not been confirmed by RED.

But yes, you're assumably right. If its dropp-ed, you gotta crop-it.
