Maybe everyone knows this already, but did Red assign names (ie; george, mike etc. ) to every camera? I just came across my original receipt and they called my Red One "spike". Or does Spike mean something else. just curious.

Spike was just an accounting inventory tag early on to differentiate RED ONE body from RED ONE accessories, since the RED ONE Body was actually in the system as the mechanical metal body part.
The first batch of cameras were nick-named however, but the numbers are very small.

Spike means one kick ass dude who shoots on the RED. ;)
