I've look on the site but can't seem to find it... I'm sure I've just missed it, but can someone tell me what the available ISOs are with the camera? Thanks.

Basically whatever you want.
1000 ISO samples shown so far has been VERY clean.
320 ISO was mentioned as the current base sensityvity

Here's some image examples from ISO 500-4000

These were from internal testing with pre-release firmware. I don't believe it's been announced what ISO settings will be available from an onscreen menu or the like. As you may know, the Red One camera has not yet been formally released (only "beta" units exist so far) and those decisions may not yet have been made.

"Crossing the line", which was shot with very few features enabled on two prototype cameras, was exposed for 250 ASA. However these were early prototypes, but that's what the tests they did indicated.
Here and there, Red have mentioned the rating to be 320, but we'll all know to count on the fact that things can change.
Cheers,
Damien

Wow, thanks for all the quick responses. The Red community seems as cool as the camera.
When I started working with a 13MP Canon 5D last year (switching from film to digital finally) I remember looking at the camera one day and thinking "now if they could just make this a film camera..." Seems like that's what's happened.

Amazing! Ditto here! I got the Canon 5D early this year and the first thing I said was how I wish they could make video cameras that shot images like still cameras..

we are only friendly as long you are new to the forum, later you will discover that we all have a camera, lens and movie-disorder. ;)

Ditto ditto. Actually, for me that moment was when my friend got a Canon D30... back in 2000...
I said "wow, things are moving so fast that I'd be crazy to spend more than $1000 on a video camera until things calm down in 5-10 years or so..."
The question is, does the Red One signal the maturity of digital sensors, or just herald a new beginning of even more dramatic change? Looking at still cameras, I'd say a bit of both...
Of course the other side of the equation is:
1. You're not going to live forever
2. Red One is good enough. If you have the cash, buy it.

I vote for drastic change.
Good thing with RED is, you'll be able to update these changes when they happen for minimal expense.
yee haa!

I think drastic change will come from companies that dont already have an interest in the status quo. We've all discussed as to how sony cant undercut themselves with a red-competitive camera, but companies like canon, kodak, maybe even nikon already have the sensor capabilities, and wouldnt mind expanding there market into motion picture. canon has a few high end camcorders out there, but it far from dominates the market.
Canon should look at this and say "lets make a 5d that can shoot 24fps continuously."

This is exactly what I was thinking when first working with the camera. I was amazed to find a company like Red was even out there ready to move on the idea.
The price/quality of this camera changes everything for low budget filmmakers. You can now purchase the system as part of your budget. This lets you not only come out with a film, but a continuing business.
