Los Angeles Area REDusers may be interested in this upcoming Digital Cinema Society Event:

Element Technica 3D at Keslow Camera - September 29th

Element Technica has been busy designing and manufacturing a fleet of new camera/lens 3D rigs which are idealy suited to RED, as well as a host of other cameras. They include fully embedded control electronics for synchronous control of focus, iris and zoom. DCS members will get a chance to see these new rigs at the home of their exclusive Los Angeles area rental facility, Keslow Camera, our host for this event.
Tuesday Evening 6:30PM to 9:00PM at Keslow Camera, in Culver City. Please note for those in other parts of the world, that we record our events for later streaming from our website.

Seating is limited and RSVPs are required. Current DCS members can save a place by e-mailing us with “Technica 3D” in the subject line to: Mathers (at) DigitalCinemaSociety (dot) org

Non DCS members need first be added to our roster using either of the links below. Be our guest to a complimentary trial membership, or if you would like to choose now to support what we are about, use the regular sign up link to pay the $30.00 dues/initiation fee; either way, we will be happy to activate your membership and register you for this event.

Very interesting James, surely do love ET work and own much of their products, and will be soon visit ET @home, not sure I'll be able to make it to the event, but it sure sounds very much of interest, especially given the current status of growing interest by the Distribution houses and studios alike for S3D content.

Some people feel the desire for revenue in more personal regions than others :rolleyes5:

Sorry Ketch, couldn't resist. Seriously though, saw the ET 3D rigs at their shop the other day and they are very impressive.

Cheers - #19

Dam it Blair! I'm Italian and I speak, read and write FOUR languages, can you give me a brake?! :dita: If the text edit does not give me a re dotted line, to me the text is fine, but now I know what that means :) so I corrected.

Any way buddy, missed you, should stop by San Diego soon, just don't know when, and you make sure to shout if you visit Vegas!!

Back on topic, ET has some Kick A%@#! S%#!@ coming up, and I absolutely have to take the offer made and go visit them and see all that they are up to.

ciao

Sven,

Where are you located out of curiosity?

I wanted to let you know that if you are able to attend IBC in Amsterdam starting September 11th, Element will be in attendance and showcasing our 3D Rigs for the first time out of the US. We'll be in Booth 11.A55. If you are able to come by, please do!

Additionally, we are planning on coordinating several events, such as this one at Keslow, all across the globe in the coming months. Let us know where you are located and I'll see if we have anything coming to your area, or periodically check www.technica3d.com for the most up to date information regarding our 3D products...
