Hi all!
I'm happy to announce that Drylab R&D, in collaboration with Projection Design and Digital Vision, is going to present the new Keyframe Consept workflow.
This is mainly an "OnSet" solution for RED users. We have made a camera report logging tool, useable on an iPhone or iPod touch. All your metadata will be properly saved and merged with your r3d files.
Together with Digital Vision´s Nucoda Film Master, you will be able to grade in SOP/CDL mode on set. All grading info and metadata will be accessable in Nucoda. Toggle your grade on and off, save time!
Keyframe OnSet will do backups with proper checksum verification. Full color grading possibilities, metadata handling and output up to four encodes in one debayer calculation. RedRocket support and more!
Visit us at IBC stand 2.C18.

KEYFRAME CONCEPT LAUNCH AT IBC 09
NEW DIGITAL WORKFLOW TOOLS MAKE METADATA
COLLECTION AND ON SET GRADING EASIER THEN EVER
Oslo, Norway, 04 August 2009 - Norwegian software developer Drylab Research & Development will finally be present at IBC 09, showing their first commercially offered RED ONE camera workflow tool for metadata tagging, on set grading and effective rendering and is aptly named Keyframe Concept.
Keyframe Concept is an iPhone application used on the film set by the production team. It uses an Apple Mac (laptop or stand alone) application to perform the grading and tie in of metadata. Keyframe Concept is the first workflow tool available that allows In Context Colour grading, related to scene, slate and take.
At IBC 09 on stand 2.C18, Keyframe Concept will be shown alongside Digital Vision and projectiondesign to present end-to-end colour-managed workflows from on-set review to final grade. Combining projectiondesign cineo series projectors with Digital Vision Film Master and Drylab’s Keyframe Concept, attendees will be able to witness accurate reproduction of colours at all stages of the production pipe line.
“We are extremely happy to be able to form a partnership with Digital Vision and projectiondesign. These partnerships enable us to secure for the film maker that what you see is actually what you get. It also allows us considerable technical and artistic control over the digital image for creative decisions on set - all the way to the silver screen," says Drylab
Research & Development’s “Head of Practical Software Ideas” and DOP, John
Christian Rosenlund.
