Hi everyone,

I'm looking for 3, 4, or 5 RED owners-to-be on the east coast to set up a network of backup equipment.

Once the cost of your production passes just a few thousand dollar/day, the idea that new-fangled camera equipment could malfunction and cost you $ is enough to make producers pause.

I figure if we have a well organized backup network we can charge most of our clients a premium for that insurance. If a RED One goes down, or a digital mag gets corrupted, we could call our backup and be back shooting in 1-3 hours.

The numbers in my head are $200/day for the insurance, with some agreed upon day rate for our emergency RED delivery and use.

Send me an email if your interested.

I'm on the East Coast (Great Barrington, MA & Danbury, CT). I am not going to be using Red One (#561) until my Red Zoom lens is ready at the end of the year. I was hoping to rent it to a rental house as a backup, but maybe the backup network is the way to go.
