I think a few of you are missing the point. It's not a list of great effects but just a sample of effects through time. They left a lot of our favorites out but that wasn't the point. I enjoyed it, especially the really old stuff. I marvel at how they use to pull things off.

Not bad, but I'm kind of surprised that there was no mention of 2001: A Space Odyssey anywhere. That was kind of a watershed movie for visual effects.
