Hello all, I am putting together a budget for a project, and need to know a ballpark figure for a DIT in the States. Around how much are people there charging for 6 day weeks?
Thanks for your help,
ƒ

Contact local 600 for rates if it is a union show. Think ... equal to the camera operator's rate.

If it's a non-union shoot - typically, it's the "key rate" - and most of the time more for kit/equipment rental.

If its one as a beginner as you it must pay to production just to be able to be on set. usually around 250 per day.
then if you want to be allowed to carry the camera cases, it should be an extra 250 to the camera departments receptionist. ( my Assistant)
and then if you want to put your dirty hands on my camera or on my software youll have to pay the DP (me) 1.500 US per gigabyte.

Miss you body where have you been? how did you do on the aerials last week?

Lets Skype and ill send you all the rates : )

Cheers!
