I am trying to get an understanding of the various settings in scratch.

Since I am used to Redcine I was looking for colorspace and Gamma setups instead I found the Redcode global settings.

1. My display is set to gamma 2.2 if I want to monitor camera RGB colorspace and REC. 709 Gamma what setups should I use?

2. Is the raw log identical to redlog or extra settings are needed bring the raw log to red log.

3. How does Scratch interpret the viewing meta data from the camera?

Novice in the Scratch world, I will appreciate any clarification on this issues.

Thanks.

Hello,

We have Scratch in our office , I hope if im wrong for someone to correct me :

1.The Screen's display gamma should be 2.2 if u r using any colorspace or any gamma setup .

2. i don't know what is the raw log because what i know about the RED is that it's 12 bits Linear .

2. Scratch has the metadata not the lens metadata but the camera metadata but doesnt recognize the ISO and the exposure since u are working with the raw files and those can be done manually.

Hope my informations are not wrong because i will have to re-look into what ive learned so far about the RED and learn it again :P
Cheers !
