How long will the 10% deposit last?

Hi there,

I was just curious how long will the 10% deposit last for purchasing the Red One & other accessories? Will the 10% end at the first shipment of Red One in August 31?

I'm planning to make a purchase for the Red One & extras in the next two weeks and I was wondering…?

I know I won’t be getting it until after May or June 08 going by the schedule…I’m in no rush…just curious?

I’m just happy to make a purchase soon and really excited to shoot like many filmmakers and cinematographers here at this forum.

Your deposit will last until your camera is ready. And you can change your mind and ask for a full refund at any time.

And we can change our configuration too right? For e.g. I ordered the RED zoom 18-55mm because that's the only one available now but I would prefer the 18-85mm (provided ofcourse that the 18-85mm is released before my RED is delivered).

You can change your order around at the last minute before it ships. It is only fair that if we can change specs, you should be able to change your mind.

Jim, in the past you mentioned a month after being notified that the camera is ready to actually come up with the remaining payment before losing your place in line. Is this still the plan?

i do not see it listed at REDS site nor for sale in the REDS store ?
any insight on it ?
