ROCKETCINE-X (BETA) seems like a pretty cool program, what I'm wondering is; do I need the RED Rocket™ card in my mac pro to make use of this application?
Thanks for taking to time to reply,

ROCKETcine-X, yes, you do need RR.
REDCINE-X, you can use it with or without RR.

RocketCine-X isn't that different to Red Alert if you don't have the RR card. The difference is the amazing speed the RR card provides.
Are you thinking of RedCine-X? This is the one they did the video teaser on a couple of months ago. RedCine-X works with or without a Rocket.

Yeah I got the wrong name in there. Sorry. I read BigLu's post:

And the program sounds wonderful, looks like it still is in the alpha phase but what I want is REDCine-X, I'm guessing by the name this is what will replace REDCine Beta.
I did have a look at the support page and didn't find the download there, so I'll search for Jannard's post on "Redcine-x time."
Anyone have an idea where RedCine-X might go beta and be available for download via REDs support page?
Much apprecaited,

Well I did my search and it appears RedCine-X has not been released yet. I search the entire 32 page thread.

Looks like it's coming soon, and based on a few screen shots, it's looking good.
Can anyone confirm that a download link wasn't provided for this program?
