I just watched a documentary on Evelyn Glennie called Touch the Sound...anyone else seen it?
Evelyn is a renowned percussionist who happens to be deaf. Incredible.
I was amazed at how beautifully shot it was. Some great cinematic camerawork and cinematography going on here so it's worth checking out. Lots of shallow DOF. And it a great biopic too.
I'm inspired to shoot some documentaries that utilize more cinematic techniques. I think RED with S35 will really help push the quality of non-narrative filmmaking and I can't wait.
