Now that i just got the camera in from the rental the sensor is as you can see very dirty it looks like it was cleaned with a liquid lens cleaner or something, in this case is this just a normal sensor cleaning or would you recommend anything else ?

Thank you
U

That is pretty bad. Are you saying this is your camera and the renter did this? Or that you are renting it and it came this way from the rental house?

WTF, did they rubbed a cloth against the OLPF?

Yes it came that way... The camera is going out for a shoot tomorrow, and i just want to make sure that i clean the sensor properly, do you have any solutions ? is this just basic cleaning ?

Thank you
U :)

Keep in mind that you are not cleaning the sensor, but the OLPF.

Try an Arctic Butterfly first then if that doesn't do it, get sensor swabs. You need these in your kit regardless.

The butterfly is only for dust. I wouldn't want my butterfly touching this greasy stuff.
I'd use some sensor swabs with a good cleaning fluid (e.g. eclipse).
