View Full Version : Red's performance on off-road terrain?

Hi all, I have to shoot a car scene where I rigged the camera to the hood of the car (with out any stabilizer support) which will run on a rather rough terrain at about 100km/hour and I'm wondering has anyone done that before? And how did it performed, quality-wise, workable ? Any feedback would be much appreciated.

The Red Drive would be out of the question. You need to use Red RAM or CF.

We did stuff like that, but probably not at a 100Km/ hour.
Pawel is of course right, you need to use the VF cards for that kind of shots.
What I can highly recommend for an easy car mount is a Cinesaddle. Since we have it, itīs with us on every show we do.
