How does it compare to the Hoodman+Redrock mounting bracket?

I have never used the hoodman, so cant say. All I can add is that the Zacuto really makes a difference if you shoot video...it lets you actually set focus w/o guessing.

That looks great. I had to shoot with a D-90 once and luckily could get away with calling all the focus racking "art!" This looks like a must if you want to shoot video.
