Does anyone at RED has any update what's the current state for ordering RPP lenses??
When will they be on stock??
Any info appreciated.

We actually should be out of backorder in about a month or so. So, if you order today, expect delivery to be around mid-Oct.

...unless you need a metric set.
I ordered around NAB this year and I'm still waiting for delivery for my #369. :sneaky2:

Thanks a lot Brend for your quick reply.
I'd like to have a metric set as well, but this won't stop me from ordering because I can't wait to shoot with them.

If Brent says october, it might just be so, I guess he knows.
I ordered my set at NAB 2007 and got it a week ago, it was well worth the wait - these lenses deliver! The Metrics has started shipping!
The serial numbers on my metric set ranges between 25 and 47 (if my memory serves me.) Why there arenīt all the same number I have no idea, but assuming REDs QC is working hard!

I noticed the same thing on my imperial set. I'm wondering if the numbers really don't mean how many they've made because surely they aren't slapping a SN on them until they are QC'ed.

Hi Brent... so as not to make assumptions... that includes metric lenses?
Thanks,
