Saturday Red Usergroup Meeting At Ibc !

Manuel Wenger took a great initiative in this post Red Usergroup Meeting At Ibc ! (http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?t=3470) for a monday get togheter, many of us can´t make that, and the following is a list of people who expressed interest in a similiar get togheter for saturday.

We now have a reservation for 28 people at the Hard Rock Cafe in Amsterdam -it´s pretty much filled..., Saturday september 8th 20.00! (NOTE: We originally had 19.30 - it´s been changed!) In the name of "RED USER GROUP, IBC 2007"(sorry to be a copycat Manuel, but I would have gone to your party if I could..)

I have as of August 22nd. PM´ed (Personal Message) and or emailed everyone on the list - asking for a confirmation - please reply to the email given and confirm your table reservation.

This is now a 28 seat reservation.

The group menu is 37,50€ and consists of the following: (For the vegetarians: They have a Veggie burger that can be added to the choices,also the onion rings and spring rolls in the appetizer platter are vegetarian.)

Unlimited Drinks (2hrs)
Beer and soda during dinner
(Wine and champagne may be ordered additionally on the night)

Appetizer Platter
Including Tupelo Chicken Tenders, Hickory-Smoked Chicken Wings,
Onion Rings, and Santa Fe Spring Rolls

Choice of a Main Course
New York Strip Steak served with White Cheddar smashed potatoes, gravy and fresh vegetables
Bar-B-Que Ribs served with seasoned fries, ranch beans and homemade coleslaw
Legendary 10oz. Burger topped with bacon, cheese and an onion ring and served with fries
Grilled Salmon penne pasta in Alfredo sauce served with garlic toast

Dessert
Hot Fudge Sundae



The price for this Hard Rock arrangement is €37.50 per person and includes an unlimited arrangement during dinner for approximately 2 hours.
For an additional €12.50 you may visit the Holland Casino after your dinner. This arrangement includes entrance to the casino, a welcome drink, a tour and explanation of gaming,
and €8 in casino chips! Subject to availability.

I won't be there probably, but I might help in choosing a restaurant. AFAIK the hard rock cafe is already booked, so I was thinking about this one (in dutch though)

since it is a big place I am pretty sure there is room. Main courses between 15 and 20 euros, two veggie ones, and 3 stops by subway from the RAI train station (and a 200 meter walk) If people want to go more into town it is pretty easy as well. The food is good; from hamburgers to more classy stuff. Smoking and non smoking space. (I start looking like a travel agent now)

EDIT: we got a table at Hard Rock cafe, funny thing is with my norwegian, english and a bit of german and french, I actually understood 85% of the dutch website... I would never have thought I could do that.

Hi folks, unfortunately I won't be able to attend the meal, looks like i'll be heading out on Holiday early Sunday and I don't fancy that after a night on the beers and an early morning flight.

HOWEVER, I am going over on the Friday morning on a 6.25am flight, spending the day at IBC and flying back at 10.00pm. So if there is anyone there on the first day of exhibitions I'd love to meet up and say hello.

I'll be doing a report from the centre, I've got the laptop rigged upto mobile networks so even if I can't get onto any wireless it won't be a problem. Depending on when I get into the Red exhibit and how much space there is to move I'll try and put it up as early as humanly possible. I've got a new website coming and will be posting an early report with pics on there and will let people here know when it's up.

Sorry again that I can't make the meal, would've been great to meet you all.

I will be taking a few pictures on my camera phone and post directly to my website using that so there'll be photo's fairly instantly.

I'll probably take along a DSLR too and upload some better shots when I get the chance.

As the doors don't open till 12.00, you will have trouble getting to the Red Booth then! It's not near any entrances!

there is a hidden delivery entrance to hall 7 (facing towards 7 from hall 5) and another one at the small bistro - but with "exhibition only" pass one won´t get there.

We have a case of slight overbooking, I will keep adding you to the list - but I do not guarantee anything (to anyone) - and especially not to those latest on the list.

However - just show up at the Hard Rock Cafe, there will always be options, maybe they can get you another table for the dinner itself, maybe you aren´t hungry and want to hang out in the bar with a couple of other RED users.
