I have a RED Rocket™ card installed in a Nehalem class Mac Pro system. I am running OS X 10.5.6. I've also run the firmware update to the RED Rocket™ card.

I am getting incredible transcode times:

60s 4k HD 23.98 RC36 media to 1080p ProResHQ 4444 QT in 1:26.

Couple of questions to the lords of RED:
1) When will video out (let alone audio) be functional? There are no controls that I can see for sending the signal out to an HD deck.
2) When will the Chroma DeNoise, Debayer Detail & OLPF Compensation controls be turned on?

Many thanks.

Hi Scott

You might want to review these threads. Remember, its an ALPHA version
and Jarred said yesterday it will being going dark for a few weeks so they can
focus on the BETA.

It sounds to me like Scott is referring to build 661 of ROCKET CINE-X.

Understandable that the Alpha version of REDCINE-X would not have any of this functionality yet.

Sorry all for the misplaced post. The question was indeed about RocketCine-X and the Red Rocket card.

It's amazing what it can accomplish right now.

I did not see nor know about Red Cine X as I never saw it on the support page for a download.

Thank you.

Scott

HDSDI out works for me.
Remember you wont get playback on the computer lcd when you click the rocket icon.
Make sure your monitor is compatible with your video out settings.
