When the audio is enabled will any audio going into the camera be embedded on the HD-SDI outputs of RED?

"We have “dual link” HD-SDI outputs - always clean feed and can only show the active recording area. These two HD-SDI outputs also include embedded audio and timecode."

Gibby - you are like the "good" cholesterol that keeps the system clean. I owe you several hours of my life that I did not spend following a thread that covered old ground. On behalf of all the forum addicts I anoint you "Sir Knows-a-Lot". We'll have a ceremony at the LART :clown2: .

LOL...I don't have all the answers (they're to much of a moving target), but I usually know how to dig them up quickly.

I'm happy to contribute here when I have the time, but things are getting busy. When #8 delivers and me and Ken Corben's D-cinema feature and multiple HDTV series are greenlighted, we'll be globetrotting the world, and there won't be nearly as much time for us to post. But we'll post when we can, from on location. :bye2:

RED User has been my 2nd home since it was created...I love it here...it's a great community...
