Jim, Jarred, RED team... two quick questions....
I have a feature slated to start shooting tests in early September and principal photography should begin in late Sept. - early October.
The film is along the lines of 300 meets a martial arts film, wire-wrok and all.
Two features that are necesarry for the film to work are 100fps over-cranking and 20 & 22fps shooting, a common shooting speed for martial arts flicks.
So my questions are......
- Will RED's #1-50 have the 2K windowed @100fps feature enabled?
- Will RED's #1-50 have the ability to shoot under-cranked @22 and 20fps?
If these features aren't available with the first batch of 50, when should we expect them to be enabled?
