My Reservation is 394. Although that isn't close yet, I wondered what the time frame would be for ordering accessories with the camera? A while ago there seemed to be a call for getting the orders in ASAP.
I was hoping to wait for the LART before I finalised all the bits of kit for the Redone. In fact so far my accessories of choice have changed as new information has come to light. Birger mount. CF. To name just two. Other accessories have yet to have a price or confirmed date.
So can reservation holders expect to order any accessories at the time of final payment? Or do we have to place it all months in advance if we don't want a delay with them?
Thanks

I have #476, I have put in an order for the accessories I expect I will want, if specs change I will just change my order accordingly, this way RED knows what I am expecting, i am cool with it.
Itīs clearly stated by jim that all reservations are fully refundable at any time for any reason.

But this question is still not really answered. It would be nice to get a statement from RED how they would like it to handle.
Also the way of payment should be announced !

I'd also like to know that because I have a lot more accessories I want to order, I'm somewhere around 1,700 I'd guess so I have a while, but I don't know when would be best to put in those orders.

I'm not sure why anyone needs to put in an accessories pre-order since we where told the accessories would be available in conjunction with the camera reservations. It seems like a lot of guess work that should be saved for when the specs and prices are final.

First, you should all know that our reservation holders will remain our priority. It is not completely necessary to preorder your accessories right now, however it will help with our projected demand. Its in your hands to decide. Remember, if you ever need us, we are here for you :-)
