While endless boot-up time and no power-saving mode has been a definite downside of the red one for wildlife shooters like me, I eventually got around it breaking my back because of loads of extra batteries and.. making regular use of the prerecord mode... That one has saved my day (if not my life) a couple of times... Epic with its 2 seconds boot.. and a prerecord mode would be all people like me have ever been dreaming of...
