Hey all,
Redrocket is up and blazin fast!

issue: shot 4k with a 1080 edit and deliverable. Have a shot I want to punch in on. How does one do that with redrocket?

With the current build, you can't do that. You would have to export a 4k file and do it in another application. Or a 3k, 2k file depending on your delivery and how far you need to push in. We'll hopefully see this functionality in the next build of RocketCine, which is due out soon.

Jeremy,
any thought on where to send it? tried AE but the color space doesn't match, even though we set to rec709, ends up much cooler. went redcine but while now I can crop in it doesn't let me use attributes like redspace or rec709 (that I can see, not a big user of redcine)

Dave,

If you're using RedCine, you can choose those settings in Project, under Format Settings (in the middle at the bottom). If you have Shake, you could export a 4k file from RocketCine and bring it into there for your re-framing. Or if you have FCS3, you can bring in a 4k export from RocketCine or an R3D straight into Color 1.5. Set your project to 1080 and do it in the geometry room.
