Accessories Rebate?

I apologize if this has been addressed, but I didn't find any current info on the $2,500 accessories rebate mentioned in the spring for reservation holders. Was there a time limit to collect the rebate, or is it still in play? I assumed (perhaps incorrectly) that we had until our camera ships to collect the rebate.

I was also hoping that most of the accessories would be available as the cameras ship. Don't need any lenses, so wasn't worried about that. There was just too much uncertainty in the spring for me to plop down more cash to hold accessories.

If you haven't seen an announcement to the contrary, it is reasonable to presume it is still in effect.

The rebate comes when you hand over your money. Therefore the only expiration on it is when you make your complete payment.

Red have said they'll contact people when they need to cough up! I'm sure they'll invoice accordingly and the rebate will appear on that.

I was adding up my RED total last night and for a moment temporarily forgot about the $2500 rebate and the $1500 down on the body and lens...oops! Then it suddenly came back (short term memory issues I suppose). That $4k difference will sure help the bottom line at time of purchase!
