Vertical Line Artifacts

Just curious to see if the Red engineers ran into any problems with vertical line artifacts. NAC and Vision Research (both are CMOS cameras) have had trouble with this when developing their sensors. The Vision Research Phantom HD camera came up with a good fix with a special Black Balance routine.

In the high gain images posted there was some vertical smearing. I'm hoping some clever image analysis can correct that. The sensor has plenty of dynamic range to sacrifice a quarter stop of noise to normalizing the image.
