View Full Version : Reversing Chrosziel for nikons

I am trying to figure out a solution for reversing my chrosziel "studio dv rig" follow focus system to use with nikons. Having to switch directions between nikon and PL lenses is driving me crazy. Any thoughts on modifications or reasonably reversal options would be appreciated.

Aren't P+S Technik doing exactly that for their Nikon Zeiss package? Maybe send them a friendly email...

Mount it upside down. All the production packages have a rail receptical on top where the handle mounts. Just put in some short rails and mount your follow focus upside down. Bam, your focusing in the right direction now.

Very good idea! Technically, this would work with any Follow Focus unit, not just Chroziel's, right? If I wanted to get a Redrock Micro FF, this should do the trick as well.
