I'm going to Poland and Latvia tomorrow. Will I need just a simple power plug adapter, or do I need to convert the current as well? I'm worried when I plug the Red charger into a plug adapter it will MELT it or something. Does anyone have any advice for me?

It will work fine. The Red charger is multi voltage and will work anywhere in the world.

My advice would be not to use an adapter, but just get a removable IEC cable with the right plug already on it when you are over there. That's one of the reasons they are removable.

Thanks Jim!

I don't know where to get one of those in the location I will be, so I think an adapter is my only option due to my time constraints etc. Do you think an adapter will work ok? or is there a chance it will melt or something if I don't get a good one? (just trying to prepare in case I'm short on time, in a rush, and get a cheap one at the airport or something) what do you think?

Most travel stores have sets of multiple adapters for Europe and Asia. I think in Latvia and Poland you will be using the version which has two round pins about an inch or so apart. They have a female US standard on once side (into which you plug your 110 volt US device) and the European male plug on the other. You will need a few of them, because you'll need them for your computer and whatever else you have that self-switches over to 220 volts. Don't use them for things that don't self switch. They will go boom...

Most international terminals sell the adapters.

No problem Zak. No, it won't melt. I use one on my universal voltage Kinos from the states. Only cost $6.00.
