Anyone else diggin' this phone? I really enjoy the OS, granted it doesn't have 75,000 apps like the iPhone, but it works well.
The camera with flash is badass on it, pretty decent quality, Sprint Navigation is dead accurate and the web search function is great. It uses google, as it's search engine and kind find everything....youtube videos included.
Hopefully when they come out with the Pre 2 it'll be a little faster...

Yup, I got the Pre back in July and I like it very much. Probably my favorite part is the Synergy. All my contacts from my computer, FB, Linkedin, Google, AIM, etc., are all easily accessible thru a single "contacts" application.

I got a Pre also about 3 weeks ago. Synergy is awesome. Everything works great on the phone. The multitasking is strait up sweet!. Be on GPS while talking to some one and while on a website and texting. Crazy! Also the physical keyboard while not the biggest thing, I've really grown to like it.

The droid from motorola/verizon looks pretty cool too. I'm so sick of AT&T I sometimes consider abandoning the iphone.

You might be interested in what he has to say about the Droid vs. Iphone and Pre:
"The Droid isn’t an iPhone competitor because nothing at this point in time is an iPhone competitor besides the new iPhone. And things don’t have to be right now. Everyone can eat. So will the Motorola Droid be successful? Absolutely, we think. It will eat in to BlackBerry sales, Windows Mobile sales, and positively murder any lingering Palm Pre sales. It’s that good."

Yeah, the preview of the Droid is nice and Verizon's advertising is definitely aggressive. It will be interesting to see how well the Pre does when it hits Verizon early next year.
Of course being the "competition is good for the customer" type of person that I am I think the middle of next year the gloves are really gonna start coming off in the "consumer smartphone" segment. Android phones are maturing, Blackberry Storm 2 is getting positive early looks, Pre 2 (I presume Palm will a new Pre summer 2010), and a new iPhone. The more carriers and phone makers have to duke it out the better it is for the consumer so I say, bring it on!

Oh cool. I'll have to check that out. I've been a Pre owner since they first came out. My first phone had a ton of issues and they gave me a replacement. It worked great. Then I dropped it and it totally broke the whole screen. Luckily I have insurance and they sent me a brand new Pre(not some refab)!
I always wanted an iphone but the lack of physical keyboard was one reason to get the Pre and stay on the Sprint network(and the cost is less). Not to mention I just got a letter saying I'm any call to any mobile network does not use any of my minutes in my simply everything plan. So my minutes will only kick in calling landlines. Hmmm that sounds pretty cool!
