I wouldn't think since they said the LCD will be 720p, or maybe I'm wrong? But, like they say, everything's subject to change, so who knows...

Two of the key design issues are - we need high visibility in sunlight and we need to support 60fps progressive refresh rate. So its great to see more HD panels coming into the marketplace, but they have to be tested against these two criteria.

Well that's encouraging, sounds like y'all are open to the possibility of bumping up to a 1080p unit if it meets spec. More rez more better, especially if the monitor is zoomable.

how are you going to get an LCD you can see in direct sunlight? I sure hope your not going to use one of the screens that is reflective. I don't think they show exposure well do they??? argg and they look so bad...
