Can any one explain how I can use the REDRocket to Render a bunch of R3D files into ProRes? Currently I use REDrushes, but having a REDRocket, I would like to do it as fast as possible.
Any ideas?

Antonio, Pretty simple. If you download RocketCine X or Red Cine X, you can load in one or many clips, do your color correction, then create a new export preset for ProRes 4444.
I'm sure the tutorial will talk you through it but if not, let me know and I'll talk you through it step by step.
Cheers

Hi Jim,
I have understood how to do what you have explained. But, the problem I am now having is that many times when I open a R3D files it only shows half screen??? Also when I try and render it renders with many lines, and sometimes half of the screen is green and the other is red, or sometimes is is just a full screen of p=black and whites stripes??? strange. I never get a clean QuickTime. It always has some problems.
Any idea?

well, this afternoon, suddenly it was all working ok. I was able to open all files, they all played back fine, I rendered them all to ProRes, no problems, I really have no idea what was wrong this morning, but I certainly was having many problems, and I did nothing to fix it except shut down, go for lunch, rest and start up again, and it started working fine...what can I say...I just hope that when I shut down and restart again it is still all working well....:willy_nilly:

Email us directly as you already have been. Reduser is not efficient to try to figure out if your computer, OS, hardware conflicts or rocket is the cause.
